Poltrona Frau “drops anchor” at the most prestigious nautical events of the season

Poltrona Frau will appear on land and at sea at this season’s nautical events, beginning on 6 September in Cannes before moving on to Porto Cervo and finally Monte Carlo until 1 October.

This is an important opportunity to plot the company’s course as the go-to brand for luxury yacht interiors, fruit of its 30 years of experience in the sector.

The most important new development is the presentation of the ClubSwan 50, the revolutionary new-concept sailing boat produced by historic Finnish boatyard Nautor’s Swan. The specially made interiors developed by Poltrona Frau were conceived with the necessary versatility required by a boat designed for both short cruises and regattas. This light, foldable furniture can be disassembled and places an emphasis on quality, the painstaking choice of materials and functionality.  The boat will be officially presented on 13 September in Porto Cervo during the Rolex Swan Cup.

The partnership with Nautor’s Swan also continues “on land” in the reception areas hosting stands in Cannes and Monte Carlo, where guests and ship owners from all over the world can prolong the pleasure of a September day by enjoying the glamour and comfort of the GranTorino seat, the highly successful brainchild of French designer Jean-Marie Massaud.

The interior furnishings of the P82 and P108 yachts and the seats of the P62 and P70 Pilot Houses are also Poltrona Frau creations. The company's partnership with Pershing has once again been confirmed ahead of these shows.

Cannes and Monte Carlo will also offer an opportunity to savour the luxury and craftsmanship of Poltrona Frau at the stands of some of Italy’s leading shipyards, flag bearers of Italian excellence in the luxury yachting sector. Numerous products, including sofas, armchairs, tables and chairs by leading designers of the present and past, will welcome guests at the Cerri, Baglietto, Arcadia and Azimut-Benetti stands.

In addition, the Monte Carlo space belonging to Frette, with whom Poltrona Frau has launched a partnership to 'clothe' its beds, will display Lullaby Due by Luigi Massoni, the iconic round bed of the 1970s, together with Mamy Blue Bed by Roberto Lazzeroni, inspired, noblesse oblige, by the “boat” beds of the 1700s.
