The Poltrona Frau “French” design at Palazzo Farnese
ROME – An outstanding historical location: Palazzo Farnese in Rome, one of the most imposing Renaissance architecture of the 15th century, currently serving as the French embassy in Italy. From 8th June to 20th September, the palace galleries will be the special setting for the Design @ Farnese exhibition.
For three months the large galleries of the historical palace will be furnished with French designer’s creations made in France and Italy.
Two Poltrona Frau’s products, both designed by Jean-Marie Massaud, will be the protagonists showcased: Don’do, the rocking chair introduced in 2005, the same year when the collaboration with the French designer began, and Moucharabieh, the elegant panel screen designed in 2006.
About thirty designers , architects , emergent and prominent interior designers belonging to different generations and sectors, were selected by the artistic directors Isabelle Valembras and Pierre Leonforte . About 50 pieces on display in the three large galleries of the first floor of Palazzo Farnese.
