Poltrona Frau and Dante Bonuccelli present DomusCove Day System, the new modular system for the living area: a project that furnishes, separates, and contains, transforming space into authentic domestic architecture.

DomusCove is born from a shared vision: to give shape to timeless solutions, capable of evolving naturally alongside contemporary living.

A modular system of storage units and bookcases for the living area, DomusCove Day System also introduces a partitioning function, elegantly redefining the relationship between spaces

The project combines sophisticated technology and distinctive design, expressing artisanal savoir-faire and the unmistakable elegance of Pelle Frau^®, in dialogue with wood and fine materials. Each element is custom-designed to create a proposal of outstanding quality, capable of uniting advanced functionality and aesthetic identity.

Going beyond the traditional concept of floor-based furniture, DomusCove develops vertically through a structure of uprights, anchored to the floor and ceiling or to the wall.

A light and rigorous architectural system that accommodates shelves and suspended storage units, configurable and accessible from both sides, designed to interpret space with continuity and design freedom.

Within the beam-and-upright structure, slim shelves and storage units alternate in balance, creating—especially in freestanding solutions—double-sided compositions with strong visual impact. The shelves, available in various elegant finishes, are supported by refined aluminum clamps and by a beam covered in Pelle Frau^® that can integrate indirect, discreet, and diffused lighting.

Completing the system is the option to incorporate an elegant bar cabinet, achieving an extraordinary balance of materials and refinement.
