In the heart of Utrecht, the Beatrix Theater is a major cultural and entertainment landmark, welcoming thousands of visitors every year. Located in the city center, the theater is widely used by Stage Entertainment and Jaarbeurs. Designed by Dutch architect Arno Meijs and opened in 1999, the theater has recently undergone a renovation aimed at enhancing its spaces and improving the audience experience.

For the auditorium renovation project, Poltrona Frau Custom Interiors supplied and installed 1,600 Pitagora seats, a theater seating model that combines elegance, ergonomics, and comfort, designed to deliver outstanding performance even in high-traffic environments. The seats strike a balance between acoustic performance and attention to detail, reflecting the brand's excellence in Italian craftsmanship.

Audiences were able to enjoy the new seats starting with the premiere of Moulin Rouge!, the first production staged in the renovated auditorium. The renovation helps enhance the audience experience by integrating comfort and functionality into a space dedicated to live performances.

With Pitagora, Poltrona Frau addresses the needs of the theater industry through a solution that combines design innovation, quality materials, and expert craftsmanship, in harmony with the requirements of a contemporary venue.

The Beatrix Theater project reaffirms Poltrona Frau's expertise in creating seating solutions for theaters and cultural venues around the world, enhancing the audience experience through a combination of comfort, quality, and elegance.
