The BCN armchair, designed by Herzog & De Meuron for the Barcelona Forum of 2004, is distinctive for its solid geometrical volumes, emphasised by the visible stitching, and for its compact design which conceals the seating surface.
Specifications: The BCN armchair has a metal frame. The padding is in non-deforming foamed polyurethane and the spring system consists of metal springs. Automatic tip-up seat with joints in noise-damping nylon. Upholstery in Pelle Frau® leather from the Color System, fabric or velvet, produced entirely by hand with invisible riveting. Installed in series using a metal foot finished with scratchproof and shock-resistant epoxy powder paint.
