Poltrona Frau Bologna renovates its historic showroom in Strada Maggiore
One of Poltrona Frau’s oldest stores unveils a new layout highlighting the icons and furnishings that best interpret the needs of contemporary living. Thanks to a new commercial partnership, the brand also bolsters its presence in Bologna and Reggio Emilia.
The re-opening confirms Poltrona Frau’s commitment to Bologna, a city that remains faithful to its roots while opening up to new cultural horizons and the needs of contemporary living. Here we find a city where contemporary architecture seeks to merge with its historical traces, spread throughout the urban fabric — an ideal context to bring forth the timeless beauty of Poltrona Frau.
The Poltrona Frau store combines the refined style and impeccable craftsmanship that distinguishes their products within the architectural context of the palazzo housing them, framed between the floors, ancient vaults and frescoes.
The store is spread across two floors, with spaces organized according to function. From the living room to a relaxed reading room, a bedroom and a dining room, the curation consistently combines historic and contemporary pieces: the famous Vanity Fair armchair of the ‘30s, the Chester One sofa, and new icons like the Archibald armchair or the GranTorino sofa.
The historic Poltrona Frau store in Bologna also marks a new partnership with Mancini Mida, a reseller that will represent the Tolentino-based brand in the city of Reggio Emilia as well.
