It is a soft velvet with a satin touch, characterised by tiny dots that look like powder. This wavy, elegant and glittering appearance is exclusive and is obtained through the presence of natural linen fibre in the material. The slight two-colour effect recalls a precious starry mantle and makes the Barkley velvet unique, especially in its darker tones. Five colours created by Poltrona Frau for coupling with leather or used alone.  Like all kinds of velvet, Barkley tends to crease during manufacture. The technical characteristics and use of artificial fibres make this velvet much stronger than those made entirely of cotton. It should not be exposed to the direct sunlight.
