Pelle Frau® Saddle Extra means dimensional stability and quality. It is a plant-based tanned leather with natural tannins, which due to its structural resistance qualities, it develops the product architecture. With passing aniline dyeing, Saddle Extra is without finishing and its surface may present irregularities to testify the naturalness of the leather. Any small scars or wrinkles testify the authenticity of the material and its natural origin. Its rigid but very material hand recalls Tuscan leather workmanship; its touch, silky and pleasant, gives particular warmth to the structures on which it is applied. From the upholstery of the GranTorino sofa armrest to the Fred desk top, from the Isadora chair to the decorative element in the new Zhuang objects collection and Xi and Soffi lamps; Saddle Extra is available in six different colors: Cammello, Testo di Moro, Talpa, Corda and Polvere. Without finishing and protection, Saddle Extra leather light sensitive and may have variations in color due to the natural absorption of the dye made in drums.
