POLTRONA FRAU OPENS ITS FIRST SHOWROOM IN TOKYO
A 300 square meters showroom in the heart of of culture, fashion and design Aoyama's district. Two floors inspired by the concept of the Via Manzoni showroom in Milan.
This opening represents an important step for the company's strategy to expand its presence in the Asian markets, which already has a capillary distribution presence in many countries in the world.
The layout combines historical and contemporary pieces with coherence. From the 1930s Vanity Fair armchair to the most recent icons such as the GranTorino sofa and the Archibald armchair, both designed by Jean-Marie Massaud. The showroom will also showcase for the first time in Japan the new 2017 collection. A series of new products that reaffirm the vitality of Poltrona Frau's design and tradition. Its ability to continue reinventing living spaces, constantly re-modifying its heritage of experience and an intelligence of hands that has distinguished it for over a hundred years.
A special area is dedicated to the Poltrona Frau Leathership®, where a suggestive leather bookcase invites visitors to a real sensory experience through the warmth and beauty of this material. 120 different leathers selected in the most innovative colours of a palette that includes over 200. To touch with hand the deep culture of the material that Poltrona Frau works, develops and experiments since 1912, always guaranteeing new tactile and visual effects.
