The hand-turned and hand-painted ceramic Ikiperu Vase echoes the shape of ancient Etruscan decorative objects. Ikiperu Vase, with its rounded form, consists of horizontal bands whose finishes combine colored glazed ceramic and unglazed ceramic for a striking multi-sensory effect. The Ikiperu Vase is available in two color combinations, inspired by Pelle Frau® leather shades.

Concept and Design

Ikiperu is the accessories collection designed by Norwegian designer Kristine Five Melvær. Ceramics and leather cushions with geometric patterns pay homage to local craft traditions and the ancient Etruscan cult of Cupra, goddess of abundance and prosperity. Thanks to fine craftsmanship, the Ikiperu complements assume a pronounced graphic appearance, with subtle contrasts created by multiple bands of color and different textural layers expertly combined.
