Specifications

Two-seater bench sofa for in-line installation. The supporting structure of the Rome2005 chair is made from moulded steel sheet metal. The rear of the backrest’s supporting structure has a niche that houses the foldaway writing table fitted with a lamp. The entire metal structure is coated with epoxy powder paint. The seat consists of a beech plywood panel padded with non-deforming polyurethane. Upholstery in Pelle Frau® leather from the Color System, fabric or velvet, produced entirely by hand using traditional upholstery methods.

Odile Decq is a graduate of Master of Planning and Development at the Institute of Political Studies in Paris. In 1980, she founded the Paris architect agency, ODBC, with partner Benoit Cornette, from 1985 to 1998, when Benoit Cornette tragically died in a car accident. After several architectural interior projects, urban studies and some architectural projects in the west of France, in 1990 the firm was commissioned to design two building for the "Banque Populaire de l'Ouest " in Rennes, of which they won the commission after a national competition held in 1988. Some of Odile Decq prestigious projects include construction of the People's Bank of the West and Brittany in Rennes, in collaboration with Peter Rice to the front, earning an immediate international recognition, rewarded by a dozen national and international awards.  Other projects include the viaduct of Highway A14 in Nanterre, France, along with the construction of the Highway Managerial Center suspended underneath the viaduct.
