In the heart of Belgravia, one of London’s most elegant neighborhoods, The Peninsula is a luxury hotel overlooking the Royal Parks, the gardens of Buckingham Palace, and Wellington Arch. Designed by Hopkins Architects, the building stands out for its distinctive “four-square” volume, loosely inspired by the Renaissance Palazzo Farnese in Rome.

The Poltrona Frau Custom Interiors Business Unit contributed to the project with custom furnishings and bespoke interior solutions, interpreting early 20th-century style through meticulous research into forms, materials, and details. The pieces created include the waiter station, dining tables, sofas, and sideboards, all designed to blend harmoniously with the elegant identity of the interiors.

Poltrona Frau Custom Interiors also created the furnishings for Brooklands, the panoramic restaurant located on the hotel’s rooftop. The bespoke solutions developed for the restaurant integrate seamlessly into the project with a refined design language, shaping an environment in which furnishings, architecture, and details come together to create a cohesive and distinctive experience.
