Overlooking the port of Cagliari, Palazzo Tirso is a five-star hotel created through the redevelopment of a historic 1920s building, originally home to the Società Elettrica Sarda. The project by Studio Marco Piva combines the building’s historic heritage with a sophisticated contemporary design language.

Through its Custom Interiors Business Unit, Poltrona Frau collaborated with Studio Marco Piva on the interiors, combining custom-made solutions with iconic products from the collection. The project encompassed the common areas and the two restaurants, Terra and Cielo, featuring glass and metalwork, custom furnishings and components, as well as pieces such as the Archibald armchair and a reinterpretation of the Jane table for the wine cellar.

Based on designs by Studio Marco Piva, Poltrona Frau also created the furnishings, upholstered furniture, wall paneling, and accessories for the 85 rooms and suites, using high-quality materials that meet the specific requirements of the hospitality sector. The bespoke products are paired with pieces from the collection, including the Clayton sofa and the Marta armchair.
