Poltrona Frau is pleased to announce the launch of Archibald Denim Edition, a new version of the iconic armchair designed by Jean-Marie Massaud, now available with a new and elegant denim upholstery.

Since its inception 150 years ago, denim has become an undisputed protagonist of fashion, and today blue jeans remain one of the most universal symbols of the American myth. While it has remained relevant over the years, denim has recently become trendy, appearing in all the latest prêt-à-porter collections, high fashion, and even accessories. Poltrona Frau has captured and reinterpreted this trend in furniture design, applying the play of flamed texture and contrasting stitching to one of its most beloved, elegant, and evergreen armchairs.

Archibald Denim Edition features an organic cotton jacquard fabric called Everdenim, which replicates the typical twill structure of denim and is made with a special wash that makes it even more durable and suitable for upholstery. The fabric has a characteristic flamed warp and a deep, elegant Blue Navy color. The denim effect is completed by double and top-stitched seams in yellow and a base in the new “antique bronze” finish, inspired by the rivets and various metallic details found in denim. The armchair is enhanced by a Camel-colored Saddle Leather label with the logo embossed in hot foil and the inscription “Archibald Denim Edition. Unique, like you.” sewn on the back.

Archibald Denim Edition will be available exclusively online starting September 26 through the official Poltrona Frau website, with availability in selected countries (Italy, Spain, Portugal, France, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Finland).
