Louvre Abu Dhabi

Developed on the basis of an agreement between the governments of France and Abu Dhabi, the Louvre Abu Dhabi is the first museum of its kind in the Arabian Peninsula. This universal exhibition of works includes art, manuscripts and objects of historical, cultural and sociological relevance.

As well as the main galleries, the museum holds temporary exhibitions and has a children’s museum, a restaurant, a boutique, a cafe and an auditorium. Designed by French architect Jean Nouvel, the Louvre Abu Dhabi is furnished with custom-made elements by Poltrona Frau Contract for a total of 177 pieces.
