Pitagora | Armchair

Lella and Massimo Vignelli

The Pitagora armchair is distinctive for its rigorous design and its backrest equipped with lower back support, which gives the seat an ergonomic profile. Designed by Lella and Massimo Vignelli, Pitagora can be installed in straight or curved rows to furnish theatres or auditoriums with understated elegance.

Wooden structure. Padding in non-deforming fire-resistant polyurethane. The spring system consists of elastic belts. Automatic tip-up seat with joints in noise-damping nylon. Upholstery in Pelle Frau® leather from the Color System, fabric or velvet, produced entirely by hand using traditional upholstery methods. On request, the Pitagora chair can come with a wooden panel on the backrest and under the seat and a foldaway writing table, as well as structural and colour customisations. Installed in rows using metal bases finished with scratchproof and shock-resistant epoxy powder paint.
