Pelle Frau^® SC ColorSphere^® Impact Less is the new Poltrona Frau colour system. A design map created with the consultancy of Giulio Ridolfo, world renowned colourist and textile designer, which gathers and defines a wide variety of shades. These have been studied and grouped together according to simple and immediate perception/emotional criteria.

Poltrona Frau’s experience and a special technical studies have made it possible to strike a precise balance between the colour depth and radiance of Pelle Frau^® leather in the individual dyes, enabling combinations that are always harmonious in terms of hue and contrast.

Pelle Frau^® SC ColorSphere^® Impact Less is made up of 7 main families ordered according to a descending range of tones and sub-tones: Into the Black (greys and blacks), Milky Way (whites), Foundation (pale pink and beige), Tierras (browns), Red Memories (reds), Winter Garden (blues and greens), or inspired by metropolitan and international colours (Back in Town). In turn, these consist of 14 sub-groups for a total of 73 colours.

Pelle Frau^® SC ColorSphere^® Impact Less was created to be a genuine design tool, conceived for the architecture and interior design world as well as all those that want to construct a harmonious and lasting relationship between spaces and decor. The versatility of ColorSphere^® is combined with attention to the environment: it is the first Pelle Frau^® collection to become "impact-less", that is, tanned by replacing the component (Cr3) in favour of products that have less impact on the environment, reducing the total use of chemical substances by 15%. Thanks to state-of-the-art technology in waste water recovery, Pelle Frau^® ColorSphere^® Impact Less reduces water consumption by 10% in the overall tanning, retanning and finishing process, and the total CO2 emissions during the tanning process by 10 %, which are in any case compensated for through adhesion to projects approved and certified (CER - Certified Emission Reduction) by the UN that include not only reforestation, but also initiatives to promote sustainable economies in developing countries.
