Virginia Harper designs Hudson: an elegant game of Chinese boxes, of solids and voids, of lightness and material. Hudson is a side table that contains another one. The first Hudson side table is a mini architectural design inspired by New York’s Freedom Tower.
The Hudson side table is composed of a tubular metal structure with gunmetal grey finish. The surface is in sheet metal and black painted birch plywood. The upholstery, in Saddle leather with raw-edge seam and contrast stitching, alternates three full-grain leather panels with three in punched leather with a particular geometric motif. The structure of the Hudson pouf-side table is in birch plywood with light padding in polyurethane foam. The surface is in poplar plywood with curved side panels in hardboard. The upholstery is available in Pelle Frau® leather or fabric.
