We have always believed in the central importance of our people, from our production units and creative departments where ideas are born, to our stores across the world where our home décor specialists work, to the way in which we greet our customers in those stores.
The situation we are currently living through due to the COVID-19 pandemic is affecting all of our daily lives and presumably will have a long-lasting impact on our society.
WHAT HAVE WE DONE FOR OUR CUSTOMERS?
In line with the provisions issued by national governments and the World Health Organization (WHO), our stores strive to continually adapt to the protocols issued, closing in areas considered “at risk” while remaining open wherever possible, always ensuring the utmost levels of safety and complying with hygiene standards and social distancing measures.
All of our stores have hand sanitiser gel to enable frequent handwashing throughout the day and have been equipped with clear signs to explain the health and safety guidelines in place. This is designed to remind our visitors and customers how to conduct their visit in the safest way possible.
We continue to communicate with the public through our official social media channels and to guarantee the possibility to browse, configure and purchase products through our on-line store which is available in Italy, France, Germany, and Switzerland, and through all of our retailers worldwide which operate in line with the local regulations, continuing to be a mouthpiece for the values of excellence, craftsmanship and superior quality that characterise our brand.
Furthermore, our customers are invited to use our “Design Your Future with us” service, available on the website and designed to help anyone who dreams to decorate with that quintessential Poltrona Frau style. Our team of architects, interior designers and design experts is at your disposal for a free on-line consultation to help you design your new home.

WHAT HAVE WE DONE FOR OUR EMPLOYEES?
Our employees are the beating heart of Poltrona Frau and it is our priority to provide them with a safe and calm working environment.
REMOTE YET NEVER FAR AWAY.
Where possible, around half of our employees work remotely, while the others continue to operate from our offices with new operating methods in place, such as the use of plexiglass screens between workstations, obligatory mask wearing and the use of hand sanitiser gel.
Remote working is not a new concept to Poltrona Frau and has already been operational within the company for a number of years. Thanks to this experience, we have managed to roll this out rapidly on a vast and global scale.
Each workstation has been made safe thanks to the installation of plexiglass screens.
As well as offering a daily supply of surgical masks for each employee, we have also provided Poltrona Frau washable fabric masks for employees and their families.
Each department or office is equipped with hand sanitiser gel to enable frequent handwashing.
Where it is not possible to comply with physical distancing measures in conference rooms due to the number of attendees or the configuration of the room, we offer various communication and unified collaboration platforms that effectively compensate on occasions where it is not possible to meet in person.
COVID-19 health insurance
We have stipulated a policy for all of our employees in the event of hospitalisation due to the coronavirus, offering additional cover on top of the other health insurance policies already in place.
All of our employees have the option to voluntarily participate in regular antibody test campaigns aimed at ascertaining the presence of COVID-19 antibodies.
