Concept and Design

Experience outdoor spaces in a free-flowing boundless living dimension. The Solaria collection is part of the Boundless Living Outdoor Collections by Poltrona Frau. Drawing inspiration from the lifestyle and design typical of Mediterranean culture, this collection offers highly versatile options for furnishing the lounge area of gardens, verandas, patios, rooftops, terraces, as well as the decks of yachts and ships, adapting to both residential and contract settings.

Designed by Ludovica + Roberto Palomba, the collection features generous volumes, with a simple composition, which allow the creation of a host of scenarios in a hybrid language between indoors and outdoors. The space is defined by horizontal barrier-free islands, in the spirit of lightness and comfort. Solaria features comfortable two- and three-seater outdoor sofas and numerous other modular units, handcrafted outdoor armchairs, available with or without armrests, and two outdoor side tables in square and rectangular versions. For furnishing increasingly versatile outdoor spaces where you can experience special moments in company, well-being and relaxation.

Outdoor furnishings with refined taste and clean-cut lines, characterised by soft seating elements with large cushions and hand-woven rope textures, alternating full and empty spaces, thus de-materialising objects and allowing the space to be experienced in its entirety. Solaria consists of just three materials - stainless steel, rope and fabric cushions. Everything can be taken apart and easily re-assembled to create ever-changing linear or island configurations.
