Designed by Poltrona Frau, it is an essential fabric that expresses a new concept of elegance. Its "twill" structure is characterised by a sloping design that creates a kind of strong ribbing. In fact, this weave is used to create many kinds of fabric known for their strength in everyday use, such as denim, tartan, tweed and gabardine. The structure itself forms a decorative motif highlighted by the colour contrast that emphasises its characteristic sloping lines. This re-interpretation of the simple, traditional twill structure is given new life in six exclusive colour variants. Its authentic, non-constructed fabric proudly shows off the natural linen and cotton fibres of which it is made and gives a new idea of contemporary luxury. The warp yarn (white or ecru) is made of natural linen. Some small “specks” that can be seen on the surface are due to the variable cross section of the linen yarn and should be considered a characteristic, not a defect, of this fibre. The same applies to its slightly creased appearance when exposed to oblique lighting.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

For details on the composition, maintenance and cleaning of the fabric, see the fabric sheet or the label on the product. Warning! When using fabric cleaning and maintenance products, follow the instructions given on the container. For the fabrics washable in water, washing at specialized laundries is suggested. Never use alcohol or other solvents. Avoid direct contact between the fabric and heat sources, leaving a gap of at least 20-30 cm. All materials, including those of the highest quality, may be subject to changes in colour, particularly if exposed to bright sunlight. It is best not to expose the material to direct sunlight. Warning! When used to the same extent, fabrics that cover soft surfaces are subject to greater wear than those covering rigid surfaces. Warning! Due to its nature and the treatment undergone, not all stains can be removed completely from the fabric.
