The Empac Conference Center in Troy, NY, is an original piece of architecture designed by Grimshaw that combines different types of spaces under a single roof: small studios and labs are located alongside a 1200-capacity concert hall and a 400-seater theatre. The custom seats for both stalls areas, in leather-bound American maple, were all produced and installed by Poltrona Frau Contract.
