Concept and Design

They can be folded as required, redesigning any corner with elegance, delicacy and discretion. We are talking about the Plot modular room dividers. Designed by GamFratesi and produced by Poltrona Frau, the Plot room dividers have a simple design that embellishes the home in addition to creating separate spaces and guaranteeing greater privacy. The most distinctive detail of this product is the geometric patterns created using plaited leather. In the Round panels this weave plays with the shape of the circle, presenting various combinations, while in the Square panels the geometric shape is, as the name suggests, the square.

Designed by
GamFratesi

Stine Gam, Danish architect with a master in furniture design. Enrico Fratesi Italian architect graduated with a master in industrial design. Gam and Fratesi gained experience as architects in architecture studio in Japan and Scandinavia before establishing their own design studio. The studio is based in Copenhagen. GamFratesi’s design takes its creative drive from a fusion of tradition and renewal and in an experimental approach to their chosen materials and techniques. With their dual traditional background, Stine Gam and Enrico Fratesi draw on the classic Danish furniture and craft tradition as well as the classic Italian intellectual and conceptual approach. Understanding a tradition and addressing it actively in the workshop makes it possible to expand on it. From this cross-cultural substrate they create furniture that respectfully reflects tradition while also featuring unique embedded stories, symbols and associations, often expressed in a minimalist idiom. GamFratesi have received significant awards including Finn Juhl Prize 2015, Elle Decoration International design award (EDIDA) as International Young Designer of the Year 2013, Wallpaper* Design Award as Best interior 2017, Best Designer 2015 by BoBedre, Best Designer 2009 by RUM, Invited as Guest of Honor at the Stockholm Furniture Fair 2014. With their products GamFratesi received final selection Compasso D’Oro, IF Award, German Design Awards and Good Design Awards.
