Dante Bonuccelli

He was born in Buenos Aires, where he graduated in Architecture in 1979. He designed and built villas, condominiums, and hotels in Argentina.

In 1984, he moved to Milan and began collaborating with various architectural firms, overseeing the realization of buildings, exhibitions, interiors, and industrial design projects. In 1992, he participated in the XVIII Triennale of Milan, and in 1996, he became a professor at the Faculty of Architecture at the Polytechnic University of Milan.

 

In 1998, he founded Avenue Architects, an architecture and industrial design studio with projects in Europe, Asia, America, and Australia.

His main clients include: Allianz, Alias, Ansaldo, Armani, Cartier, Dada, Editoriale Domus, Eni, Hoechst, IBM, Lualdi, Mobimex, Molteni & C, Philips, the Vatican, Vodafone, UniFor, Bocconi University, Schoenbuch, Sony, and Swarovski.

 

Design consultant for: Dada, Mobimex, UniFor. He has collaborated on various projects with firms such as Foster & Partners, Herzog & de Meuron, Grafton Architects, OMA, and SANAA. His projects have been published in books and magazines and exhibited internationally.

 

He has received numerous awards for industrial design, including: Good Design Award, Chicago Athenaeum: 2008 and 2009, Compasso d’Oro Index: 2004, 2005, 2009, 2010, 2021, Honorable Mention, Compasso d’Oro 2011, Red Dot Design Award, Germany: 2008, 2009, Best of Neocon, Chicago 2009, Silver Award Neocon, Chicago 2007, EIMU, Intelligent Space Award, 2004, Interior Design Best of Year Awards, New York 2007, MD Magazine, Germany: Best of 2011.
