Snøhetta

With its Nordic simplicity and elegance, the Lille armchair, designed by acclaimed Danish architect Snøhetta, offers a variety of seating options. Thanks to the open-frame design of the side panels and armrests, when unoccupied these seats confer a pleasant sensation of space and light on any venue.

Specifications

Manufactured using traditional methods, the seats of the Lille armchair can be installed in straight or slightly curved rows. To optimise the use of spaces, the backrest can be reclined as desired, guaranteeing comfort and the perfect view of the stage from any position. Produced from an MDF structure of vacuum-dried beech and solid poplar, the side panels and seats of the Lille are moulded to ensure greater ergonomic support. The frames of the armrests are made from wood while the seat and backrest are completely upholstered to guarantee total comfort and optimum tactile properties. Tensioned and woven elastic belts, padded with differentiated-density fire-resistant polyurethane foam, ensure absolute comfort even when seated for long periods. Thanks to an internal system of counterweights and strong nylon supports the backrest returns to its original position smoothly and quietly. The Lille seat is fixed to the floor via a scratchproof metal base finished with epoxy powder paint and plastic or steel toggle bolts. The row and seat number plates are available in various materials, including metal.
