The professional work of the Fuksas studio started in 1967 with the opening of its first offices in Rome. It became well-known in France, where in 1989 it opened its second studio in Paris with Doriana O. Mandrelli; in 2002 its third opened in Frankfurt.

The work of the studio involves various departments according to a multidisciplinary international profile: architecture, art, town planning, landscape and since 1997 design, a section directed by Doriana O. Mandrelli Fuksas. Among the most recent projects of the studio are: the New Rho-Pero Exhibition centre in Milan, the ZENITH music hall in Strasbourg and for design, the BIBI seating for Poltrona Frau.
