2023 Pleasures Collection

18 APRIL 2023

We are pleased to announce the 2023 Pleasures Collection, the collection bringing together both new additions and range extensions under the theme of pleasure. The rich proposal, presented during the Design Week 2023 at the Milan showroom in Via Manzoni 30, is distinguished by excellent collaborations in which the creativity of the design masters and the expertise of artisanal production techniques meet in a fusion of culture, history and tradition.

Furniture and accessories with a strong narrative and experiential value express the concept of pleasure by interpreting it in a range of meanings: the pleasure of welcoming, by creating cozy environments where experiences can be shared and relationships cultivated; the pleasure of rediscovering the past, by giving it a new meaning; the pleasure of comfortable living, by surrounding ourselves with objects that enclose stories and emotions; the pleasure of taking a break, by giving new significance to the time spent waiting; the pleasure of writing, by rediscovering the precious and intimate gesture of translating thoughts into handwritten words.

New collaborations, renewed synergies and the unmistakable stylistic language marked by an essential elegance concur to define this year's vast product offering. Several novelties are revealed, including new partnerships with two Made in Italy excellences from Tuscany: the historic cabinet-making brand Ceccotti Collezioni for the DUO Collection and the exclusive luxury stationery brand Pineider for the Pineider x Poltrona Frau co-signed collection. In-house novelties include a brand new version of Gio Ponti's iconic Dezza seat with the Redevance fabric, designed by Ponti himself, and a limited edition of the marble table-sculpture Infinitamente by Roberto Lazzeroni, as well as restyling and range extensions of the most successful pieces conceived by Jean-Marie Massaud and Roberto Lazzeroni. Among them, the Montera and Montera Mas seats are enriched with new versions in a range of different materials; the Downtown Conference home-office armchair gets a makeover with a new base; the Archibald seat turns into a two-seater sofa; the Bob side tables embrace even more shapes and finishes. And more: new sizes for the Fidelio storage unit and updated color choices for the Holly, Fede and Dido lightings. Completing the 2023 collection are the accessory lines Ikiperu, born from the creativity of designers Kristine Five Malvaer; Weavers Home Fragrances, conceived by Simona Cremascoli; and Trusty and Fascination, signed by Poltrona Frau's Style & Design Centre. Lastly, the well-established partnership with the London-based Foster+Partners studio returns for a major new project for public spaces: the Bay System seating system.
