Poltrona Frau becomes a member of Aura Blockchain Consortium

15 october 2024

Poltrona Frau is pleased to join the Aura Blockchain Consortium as a member, with the aim of introducing the Digital Product Passport (DPP), which in the 2025 pilot project will involve two of the brand’s most iconic products: the Vanity Fair and Archibald collections.

Aura Blockchain Consortium, a non-profit association founded in 2021 in Switzerland by key luxury players such as LVMH, Prada Group, OTB Group, and Cartier, utilizes blockchain technology to promote socially responsible, sustainable, and customer-centric business practices throughout the entire lifecycle of luxury products.

Poltrona Frau's decision to join the Aura Blockchain Consortium not only reaffirms the company’s commitment to authenticity and sustainability, but also aims to redefine transparency and responsibility standards by simplifying access to information and supporting the verification of product origin and quality.

In a context where consumers increasingly demand clarity and reliability, the collaboration with Aura Blockchain Consortium represents a decisive step towards more transparent and responsible production.
