Montera | Chair

Roberto Lazzeroni

The same materials and finishes are used in every item of the collection. First and foremost the original upholstery of the shell, which combines Pelle Frau® leather on the inside with Cuoio Saddle Extra leather on the outside, with contrast stitching around the edges. A version entirely upholstered in Pelle Frau® leather is also available. In this case the stitching has tone-on-tone thread.

In all elements of the Montera series, the frame is made of rigid polyurethane obtained by molding. Polyurethane foam padding. The legs of the Montera chair, armchair and h66 and h74 stools are in solid ash wood with a wenge or moka stain, with black nylon spacers. The Montera stackable chair has a 4-legged steel base in the evocative blasted and burnished finish which gives new warmth to the metal. This is also upholstered in Pelle Frau® leather and a two-tone version is also available on request.

Concept and Design

The Montera series designed by Roberto Lazzeroni has a formal lightness that expresses the sensory charm of its materials: the raw cut processing exalts the tactility of the saddle-leather and leather which, combined together, complement each other perfectly; the light stitching on the backrest forms a smile. Montera is a chair, an armchair, a stool of two different heights, a column stool and a stackable chair.
