As part of the 2025 Grand Tour of Museums and the European Night of Museums, the Poltrona Frau Museum in Tolentino presents Design in Movimento, a unique event that merges dance, art, and business culture.

On Saturday, May 10^th, the museum will open its doors to a site-specific choreographic performance, created in collaboration with the Liceo Coreutico of Tolentino – Istituto di Istruzione Superiore F. Filelfo. Inspired by the iconic forms of Poltrona Frau design, the choreography blends contemporary and neoclassical dance with the music of Franz Schubert, George Gershwin, Erik Satie, and René Aubry, embodying the brand’s core values: craftsmanship, timeless elegance, and innovation.

The initiative is part of the national project A Scuola d’Impresa, promoted by Museimpresa – the Italian Association of Business Archives and Museums – and LIUC Carlo Cattaneo University. It reaffirms the Poltrona Frau Museum’s role as a place of innovation and participatory culture. The event will conclude with a performance in the automotive area of the museum, inspired by L’automobile da corsa, a musical poem by Tommaso Marinetti, celebrating the encounter between Futurist avant-garde and body language.

A member of the Museimpresa network since its opening in 2012, the Poltrona Frau Museum is reaffirmed as a true “Third Space”: a cultural hub where heritage and collective experience converge. No longer just a place of preservation, the museum actively engages with its local community, strengthening its social and inclusive role and contributing to the creation of sustainable, accessible, and participatory communities.

Admission to the event is free with prior online registration. Five visit slots are available between 2:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., each with a maximum capacity of 25 participants. In addition, to promote employee well-being and corporate culture, Poltrona Frau offers its employees exclusive access to the dress rehearsals.
