In collaboration with Interninow, Poltrona Frau hosted a new event in its Design Talk series at its monobrand store in Carrara, featuring designer Roberto Lazzeroni. 

Moderated by Davide Biselli of Interninow, the event took place on Friday, October 16, 2026, offering an opportunity to explore the relationship between heritage, innovation and new ways of living. 

At the heart of the conversation was Roberto Lazzeroni’s design journey and his connection with two major names in Italian design: Ceccotti Collezioni, with which he has collaborated since 1988, and Poltrona Frau. The discussion highlighted the designer’s ability to interpret each company’s identity through his exploration of materials, forms and details, striking a balance between manufacturing tradition and a contemporary vision. 

The conversation began with the Fidelio Multimedia Cabinet x Leica, a project that provided the starting point for a reflection on the relationship between furniture and technology, contrasting the enduring value of quality design with the rapid pace of technological innovation. The discussion then turned to some of Lazzeroni’s iconic projects, including Ginger and Fred, the Duo Collection and the Infinitamente 2.0 table. 

The event took place against the backdrop of the Poltrona Frau Carrara monobrand store by Interninow, featuring the retail concept designed by architect Michele De Lucchi and striking Calacatta 900 marble portals, custom-designed and crafted by Interninow as a tribute to local tradition. A space where architecture, materials and local culture come together, reflecting the values of excellence and research that distinguish Italian design.
