Poltrona Frau is pleased to invite the public to attend the opening of Delicate Balance by Shepard Fairey, scheduled for May 14, 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Poltrona Frau Museum in Tolentino. An event that brings together design and art, with a special focus on the collaboration with Shepard Fairey.

The Archibald Delicate Balance Limited Edition reinterprets one of the brand’s most recognizable icons in a unique dialogue between design and contemporary art. A project that combines outstanding craftsmanship and contemporary visual culture, emphasizing how every detail is designed to translate artistic values into a tangible experience.

For the occasion, the Poltrona Frau Museum will display the artist proofs, alongside the artwork Third Eye Open Blue by Shepard Fairey.

The evening will be enriched by a talk curated by gallerist Giuseppe Pizzuto of Wunderkammern, a contemporary art gallery that is part of the Deodato Group, who will explore the artist’s work and the pieces that inspired Delicate Balance.

In continuity with this initiative, Poltrona Frau announces a second event in advance: on May 23, the museum will take part in the Night of Museums, as part of the Grand Tour Musei 2026 promoted by ICOM, an initiative that promotes the role of museums as places of dialogue, inclusion, and connection under the theme “Uniting a Divided World.” During the evening, visitors will have the opportunity to explore the Archibald Delicate Balance project in greater depth, and the exhibition “Author Posters: the history of Poltrona Frau through the decades” will be inaugurated, created by students of ITIS Divini in San Severino Marche as part of the “A Scuola di Impresa” project in collaboration with Museimpresa and LIUC University. 

A new opportunity to experience the museum as an open space for dialogue, rediscovering the brand’s history through new graphic and cultural interpretations.
