Together with Poltrona Frau, the design studio Atelier Oï creates an original and refined lamp that explores a new material and lighting language. Through a modular process of cutting, folding, and interlocking, the flat leather strips forming the lampshade become three-dimensional volumes that interact with light, allowing it to filter through the folds of the weave and creating a soft, dynamic illumination. The texture of the leather adds warmth and refinement, contrasting with the visual lightness of the glass base. The effect is both sophisticated and airy, like the tulle tutu of a classical ballerina, which inspires the name “Tullissè.”
