Poltrona Frau renews and expands its presence at the 1000 Miglia Experience Florida 2026, continuing its collaboration within the “Friends of 1000 Miglia” category. The event marked the second U.S. Experience of the historic competition that Enzo Ferrari once defined as “the most beautiful race in the world,” further strengthening the dialogue between Italian design, automotive culture, and international excellence.

Building on the success of the previous edition, Poltrona Frau took part in the 1000 Miglia Experience Florida 2026 with an even more active and articulated presence through the debut of the Poltrona Frau Racing Team, composed of two official racing crews, each formed by a driver and a navigator, alongside an additional vehicle driven by brand representatives.

The 2026 1000 Miglia Experience Florida unfolded across three legs — Naples-Venice-Tampa, Tampa to West Palm Beach via Lakeland and Sebring, and finally West Palm Beach to Miami — crossing some of Florida’s most evocative landscapes before culminating in the final award ceremony in Miami. A route that celebrated automotive excellence, the timeless appeal of historic cars, and the evolution of contemporary automotive design.

At the heart of the collaboration remains the Poltrona Frau Award, created to celebrate excellence in luxury automotive interiors. For the 2026 edition, the award took the form of a Miniature Archibald armchair upholstered in Pelle Frau® ColorSphere Impact Less leather, a symbol of the brand’s long-standing savoir-faire. The recognition was assigned to vehicles whose interiors best expressed originality, craftsmanship, and state of preservation — including seats, interior panels, headliners, and dashboards — across the categories 1000 Miglia Original (Car Class 1927–1957), Classic Icon (Car Class 1958–1994), and Hypercar & Supercar (Car Class 1995–present).

Continuing a tradition established in the previous edition, each crew also received a custom-designed clutch crafted in Pelle Frau® ColorSphere Impact Less leather, conceived as a refined welcome gift and a lasting memento of the Experience, embodying the brand’s attention to materials, functionality, and aesthetics — hallmarks of its excellence in luxury furniture and bespoke interiors.
