Gabriele and Oscar Buratti imbue the SanBabila seating system with all of the characteristics that have made Italian design world famous: clean and elegant lines, top-quality materials, impeccable taste and fine artisan finishes. Produced by Poltrona Frau, SanBabila is a seating system designed for auditoriums, theatres and concert halls that can be used as a single element or in multiple compositions.
Its simple, rounded design and carefully studied proportions make it a timeless classic that also stands out in larger spaces.
The structure of the SanBabila chair is made from seasoned solid beechwood. The differentiated-density polyurethane padding guarantees maximum comfort, prevents deformation over time and maintains the seat’s load-bearing capacity and textural features. The spring system consists of elastic belts. Automatic tip-up seat with joints in noise-damping nylon.
The SanBabila seating system consists of two types of chairs: one with high backrest, consisting of two joined elements and sides slightly raised; the other a single piece with low backrest. The seats are fixed to the floor in straight or curved rows using a metal base lacquered with scratch-proof and shock-resistant epoxy dusts.
SanBabila can be upholstered in Pelle Frau® leather, in the complete range of incredible Color System shades, or in fabric or velvet in order to adapt to and exalt the architectures that host it in the best possible way. A touch of Italian style that enhances any setting with its understated contemporary elegance.
